Waingels College is a new technology build, incorporating a structure of cross-laminated timber, built on a in-situ cast ground slab.
The design incorporates natural light with daylight dimming, natural ventilation, biomass boiler, energy efficient lighting and has been designed to achieve the additional 60% carbon reduction target over current building regulations.
