Smith Group UK Ltd Maintenance provides service and facilities management so
that the client can concentrate on core productive tasks. We do this by offering
specific maintenance schemes for existing and prospective clients.
Smith Group UK maintenance operates policies of
reactive, cooperative and fully coordinated maintenance.
This provides substantial, reliable cover for electrical
and mechanical services, fire alarm and intruder alarm
systems, CCTV and appliance and installation testing.
Call
out procedure:
Electrical General
Check equipment power is correctly switched at all local
supplies
Check distribution board fuses are complete / circuit
breakers are correctly switched
Reference details of circuits within the electrical manual
Check fuses in plug tops. Replace if necessary with correct
rating only
Neon Installations
Check that neon power indicator is lit
Check that external neon fireman’s switches are
correctly switched
Check that internal safety switches are correctly switched
Ensure Neon tube is not damaged
Check time clocks are correctly set
Fire Alarm
Upon Activation of the fire alarm, follow normal company
procedure
If the system does not reset once the event is clear,
