London Office Off to A Flying Start

Mike Layzell, Southern Regional Director at the London Office. Another well known name in the M&E industry joins Smith Group UK Ltd to head up our new London office. Mike Layzell, with many years experience of the London M and E Market, will head the Southern Operations team based at our offices in Shoreditch.

"The London office will be key to the strategic development of the group and is centrally positioned to cover the southern region. It is an incredible opportunity for the Group and I look forward to supporting Mike in growing the London office and team here quickly" commented Stephen Smith, Joint MD of Smith Group UK Ltd

The new office had been part of the growth strategy for some time and with a number of recently secured contracts in the South, the time was now right for expansion into a London office location. Currently Smith Group works throughout the UK but in recent months it has seen an influx in contracts from the Southern region, hence the expansion.

"I think given the opportunities in London and the success already gained in this region, now is the right time to introduce the Smith Group to a wider client base. I’m delighted to be a part of this success and the strategic growth of the business." added Mike Layzell, Southern Regional Director.
